Blossom’s pediatric occupational therapists use a play-based, child led approach to transform daily challenges—buttoning a shirt, holding a pencil, staying calm—into achievable victories. Using sensory-integrated play, we strengthen motor skills, self-care routines, and emotional regulation so children gain confidence and independence at home, school, and the community.
Occupational therapists are experts in your child’s occupation – ‘play’. At Blossom, we meet your child where they are at developmentally and individualize treatment to target the skills that are most important to you and your child.
Suspended swings, crash pads, and tactile stations give kids safe sensory input to organize their bodies.
Goals are tied to real-life routines—zipping coats, opening lunchboxes, climbing playground ladders.
Parents learn simple home adaptations and calming strategies so progress sticks beyond sessions.
Parent input is a vital part of the success of your child’s progress. We work closely with you to identify which skills are most important to you and together we identify goals to drive your child’s treatment plan!
What to expect at Blossom – from the initial occupational therapy assessment through your first few months of treatment!
