Speech-Language Pathologist

At Blossom Children’s Center, we provide the highest quality therapy services to children impacted by autism spectrum disorders, as well as their families. *Speech Language Pathology License (Required)

As a Blossom Speech Pathologist, you will be trained and perform all duties of a direct therapist and be responsible for the following responsibilities:

Conduct and report on speech and language assessments for pediatric clients and design intervention treatment plans in an early intervention setting
Conduct and report on individualized speech and language intervention focused on developmentally appropriate skills
Collaborate on speech and language intervention progress and goals with parents/guardians and at weekly multidisciplinary team meetings
Assist in regular coaching and support to direct care staff implementing treatment protocols throughout a client’s ABA day within a clinic setting
Write progress reports on individualized speech and language treatment plans (every 3-months) for each client and request authorization as directed
Complete re-evaluations yearly to document progress and continued eligibility

Provide home programming and parent training/coaching as applicable on a case-by-case basis
Provide oversight to cases, staff and family to make sure all company policies are followed, and that treatment is provided according to ethical and best standards of practice
Comply with organization, state and federal regulations set forth to include professional development, safety training, and confidentiality policies
Work collaboratively with other therapists, providers, administrators, and school staff for effective programs and follow the specified program routines and schedules
Uphold a positive attitude and conduct yourself in a professional and ethical manner at all times
Participate in weekly professional meetings and team meetings including companywide trainings as designated by supervisor and organization

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist with at least 2-3 years’ experience providing direct therapy to pediatric clientele, implementing assessments, developing intervention plans, and working on collaborative teams.
Dedicated and energetic individual with a genuine interest in improving the outcomes of children with autism and other challenges.
Must maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients.

Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician

At Blossom Children’s Center, our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) lead teams comprised of Behavior Technicians* and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), in a center-based facility. Our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services cater to early intervention families in and around Metro-Detroit, at either our Novi or Brighton location.

The core responsibility of a Behavior Technician at Blossom Children’s Center is to faithfully implement treatment plans, overseen by a BCBA, tailored to children with autism or related needs, fostering their progress towards behavior treatment goals. This pivotal role demands empathy, ABA expertise, and unwavering professionalism.

Joining our team offers the opportunity for career advancement through supervision and training, paving the way for those aspiring to attain BCBA certification. Whether seeking part-time or full-time positions, this role has flexibility in scheduling and substantial engagement with clients, their families, fellow Technicians, and your BCBA Supervisor.
