Shadowing Opportunities for Occupational Therapy Students

If you are thinking about going to school for Occupational Therapy and need to get in your shadow hours before you apply, we can help. Please contact the Occupational Therapy department and include the following:

Fieldwork Level 1 Opportunities

Currently, we are accepting Level 1 students at both locations (Novi, MI and Brighton, MI). Please contact the Occupational Therapy department (or have your university contact us) to find out if we are affiliated with your school to proceed with the opportunity. Please provide the following information:

We will work with your school to provide a strong Level 1 experience that will include the following:

Mentoring with a clinician trained in DIR/Floortime and Sensory Integration
Collaborative work environment with Speech Therapists and ABA therapy
Timeline of program that aligns with your class assignments
Flexibility with hours and days to meet the needs of your school schedule
