Meet our Team

Alex began her academic career at Grand Valley State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Music. Alex’s journey into occupational therapy began in a daycare classroom, where she first discovered the incredible joy of supporting young children as they developed new skills and overcame obstacles. It was in that busy, joy-filled environment that she realized how much she loved being a part of each child’s unique journey. Alex went on to receive her master’s in occupational therapy from Eastern Michigan University and found her path to Blossom Children’s Center.

When Alex is not working with children and their support systems, she enjoys spending time with her family and her puppy Milo. She also loves gardening and hiking which helps her recharge and stay present both in and out of the therapy space. Just like the kids she works with, Alex believes in the importance of play, creativity, and balance in everyday life!
